The Nikon D3000 is an entry level digital SLR camera. Physically, this Digital SLR is compact and lightweight, making it more convenient to carry around than a conventional SLR. The D3000 borrows several features from its predecessors; a 10.2 megapixel CCD sensor and 3fps continuous shooting from the Nikon D60, plus an 11-point autofocus system with 3D tracking from the D90. This camera has a comparatively larger LCD screen at a full 3 inches.
